Our Favourite Festival Photographs
We are fortunate that many of our guests share their photos and videos with us after their journeys. Here are some images of the festivals of Bhutan.
Visitors travel for miles around from remote villages to join the crowds at the celebrations. Everyone dresses in their finest festival clothes and the monestary (dzong) monks don their incredible costumes to perform holy dances. The festivals or tsechus can go on for hours or days culminating with blessings from the Lhama or Head Monk.
