JOB OPENINGS IN OUR UK OFFICE

TRAVEL DESIGNERS / TRAVEL CONSULTANTS

We're on the lookout for new Travel Designers to join our small friendly team.  Our designers do so much more than selling packages or even 'tailor-made' itineraries that someone in the product department put together.  Our designers are immersed in every part of 'journey' creation, choosing the accommodation, working with the DMC to craft the perfect trip, costing it up, presenting that to the guest right through to talking through their feedback after the trip.  It's all encompassing and very rewarding.

Experience selling tours in Asia or working for a tour operator in Asia will be advantageous.

Our offices are in a countryside, village location so your own transport is essential however we do, over time, consider remote-working options for people who can work autonomously.

MANDALA MONGOLIA GENERAL MANAGER

READ THE JOB DESCRIPTION HERE

Panoramic Journeys are looking for a talented manager with experience working in luxury tourism or hospitality to oversee their innovative and exciting new Mandala Mongolia project.  The role is similar to a General Manager of a exclusive, boutique hotel and yet the unusual nature of the accommodation requires this project manager to develop and oversee everything from sourcing materials and new eco-technologies; working with nomadic families; and developing the booking systems and managing, hiring and training people who have never worked in the service sector before. This role is not only diverse, exciting and challenging, it will change with the seasons!  The role will involve working both in the office and on location in the countryside.

MANDALA MONGOLIA

Mandala Mongolia offers exclusive luxury accommodation and private experiences in the heart of the Mongolian countryside. This newly developed offering is already receiving great reviews from international travel journalists and Panoramic Journeys are looking for someone to lead its continued development, deliver the highest standards for guests and ensure that ambitious sustainable tourism standards are met.

“It’s an innovative philanthropic model .. to be sure..

Mandala… is a thing of quiet excellence, conceived to please both the most adventurous and demanding.

Mandala Mongolia has been designed with a greater good in mind; from ambitions of reducing the urban migration of nomads; to the training people in sustainable practises; to supporting small local craftsmen, this project sets out to be so much more than a very comfortable place to sleep on the steppe."  Maria Shollenbarger (How to Spend It)
