This summer sees London playing host to a selection of rarely watched minor sports, attracting an influx of out of towners and foreign hordes, bringing transport paralysis and price hikes to the capital, all played out under the inevitable grey carpet of polluted drizzle. It’s another English summer - this time with added Olympics! What better reason to escape? The Games run from 27 July to 12 August, coinciding with the school summer holidays across the UK, and also the best season to visit Mongolia.
