From steppe and sand dunes in
Central Mongolia, to forested mountains and Khovsgol Lake
in the North, we explore Mongolia's most spectacular scenery,
stunning natural wonders and impressive national parks.
On our journey we venture into the remote regions near the
Siberian border for a ride beside the "Blue Pearl"
and a visit to a family of reindeer herders.
Nomadic culture and Tibetan Buddhism are deeply influenced
by ancient Shamanic beliefs and practises. The shamanic
world view sees man as a small part of the cosmos. They
see little difference between the world of the living and
that of the spirits. Mongolians have a powerful desire to
be in harmony with the universe, for any imbalance in nature
brings wih it an imbalance in man. We travel to the North
of the country where shamanism is particularly prevalent.
